Client Events – Laugh Out Loud Funny

Good morning and welcome to March…one of the most profitable and largest business months of the year! I’m confident you’ll ready to make it a $500k, $1 million, $2 million or even $3 million+ production month!!!

Today I’m sharing a great idea from a very successful financial advisor I consult…

He contends that laughter brings people together (and I agree). So at public workshops he visits with clients about what being a client of his firm means. They get into serious topics like tax audits, regular portfolio rebalancing, income analysis, etc. He lets the people in front of him know when to expect these items, why they’re valuable and how working with his firm means they get all this (where presumably they’re not receiving these with their current broker…The Wedge)!

Then this producer visits about his client events (referred to as “Family Reunions”). He shows pictures of large dinners, picnics, golf outings, etc. 3 or 4 slides with all his clients having a blast and showing his seminar prospects what they should be part of. Then, the producer says:

“I actually took some video at our last client event, so you can get a better feel for who I work with. Here…take a look.”

Then he’s embedded a hilarious 2 minute video from America’s Funniest Videos (just contact me if you want it) into his PowerPoint presentation and clicks on it. Obviously it’s not film from his last client event, but he has the entire audience laughing out loud. 3 minutes later the audience is laughing with you, walls have further come down and they’re viewing you as a real person.

If this fits your style – let me know and you can implement it immediately!

Have a great next couple days and let’s make March a banner month for you. I’m here to help any way I can.
